
Roger Holdsworth, Chairman, Talent Q International
Roger has worked as a business psychologist since 1960. After seven years with the Institute of Applied Psychology in Sweden, five years with the National Institute of Industrial Psychology in London, and five years as an independent consultant in assessment, he founded SHL (with Peter Saville), which became the world’s leading firm in the area of psychometric testing.
As CEO of the SHL Group, he floated it on the London Stock Exchange, and grew it to have worldwide sales of over £70 million, 7500 clients, and 1,000 employees in 30 countries. Roger retired from SHL in 2002, but continues in his life-long passion for developing ground-breaking assessment products and extending the Talent Q global network.

Steve O’Dell, CEO, Talent Q UK Ltd
Steve brings a wealth of experience to Talent Q from his previous positions within the assessment sector. He was head of assessment for Capital Consulting, European managing director for OPP, chief operating officer at IPAT (USA) and head of CRM for SHL UK.
Over the past decade he has worked with a wide range of major international businesses and public sector organisations, providing psychological assessment, consulting, training and product solutions. With Talent Q, Steve believes that he is able to offer a more pragmatic and flexible approach to workplace assessment than ever before.

Alan Bourne, Director of Consulting, Talent Q UK Ltd
Alan has worked as an occupational psychologist since 1996, including external consulting roles with SHL and Capital Consulting, working as an internal consultant within Royal Mail, and then as an independent consultant working for a wide range of private and public sector clients.
He also brings a strong evidence-based focus, having completed a PhD in 2007 which quantified the role employee attitudes play in moderating the impact of human resource management on bottom-line business performance.
