Chris Holdsworth, Group CEO, Talent Q Group

Chris will take up the position of CEO of the Talent Q Group with effect from 1 September 2011 and will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s performance in this role.

Chris is an experienced international executive who has spent over 16 years in the financial services sector in general management and strategy consulting roles. He has had considerable experience in Asia, and was the founder of Talent Q China, a fast growing part of the Group’s business.

Marina Barabanova, Chairman, Talent Q Group

In her role as Chairman, Marina draws on her wealth of experience to oversee the development of Talent Q, with a particular focus on the direction and development of new products and services.

Prior to Talent Q, she joined SHL Russia at its inception in 1993, working as a senior consultant and key account manager, becoming Managing Director and Senior Partner in 1997. She successfully established Talent Q Russia in 2007 and spends her time overseeing this business as well as leading product development and providing partner development throughout the extensive Talent Q network. Marina provides a unique contribution to Talent Q through her depth of experience of applying psychology to address talent management challenges in emerging market economies.

Steve O’Dell, CEO, Talent Q UK Ltd

As a co-founder of Talent Q, Steve is happy to see the vision becoming a reality after 5 years of creating, building and taking new assessment products and services to market.

He is passionate about adding value for clients, challenging current practices, harnessing technology to improve assessment and ‘keeping it real’.

Previous to Talent Q, Steve was European Managing Director for OPP, COO of IPAT (USA) and Head of CRM for SHL UK. Over the past decades he has worked with a wide range of major international businesses and public sector organisations, providing psychological consulting, training and assessment product solutions.

Alan Bourne, Director of International Operations, Talent Q Group

Alan works closely with our territory and alliance partners to enable them to develop business and deliver solutions using Talent Q’s offering. He is also a key contributor to the development of Talent Q’s products and services, along with directly supporting key international clients.

He was previously Director of Consulting for Talent Q UK and prior to that worked internally as a psychologist with Royal Mail, having begun his career initially with SHL. He has worked with a wide range of clients and partners across multiple territories and sectors, with a focus on delivering solutions which are both innovative and meet practical business needs.

He is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and brings a strong evidence-based focus, having completed a PhD in Organisational Psychology in 2007 which focused on understanding the processes through which HR practices impact on bottom-line business performance.

Nicola Tatham, R&D Manager, Talent Q Group

Throughout Nicola’s career she has delivered products and research to clients in a variety of settings, from internal consulting roles with the Home Office and the Royal Air Force, before moving on to SHL and leading a team of IT consultants and occupational psychologists in the Design & Innovation team.

Being part of Talent Q has enabled Nicola to embrace a more flexible and innovative approach to product development both in bespoke client projects and in wider global product development.

James Dickinson, Head of IT, Talent Q Group

James’ career has allowed him to gain extensive experience of managing the development, maintenance and delivery of online web applications to thousands of clients across different industry sectors, worldwide.

Working with Talent Q has allowed James to focus his attention on the commercial application of technology, finding solutions with a greater impact and focus towards the end user. James’s goal is to utilize technology to make the user’s experience as intuitive, and simple as possible.

Claire Rahmatallah, Head of Marketing, Talent Q Group

Claire’s career spans over 15 years in the assessment sector in a variety of roles including client management, marketing and PR for organisations such as SHL and TalentDrain.

At Talent Q, Claire uses her knowledge and expertise to help shape products and services which add value and meet the needs of our clients. She believes that workplace assessment should be more accessible, flexible and pragmatic and is passionate about delivering an outstanding customer service.
